Mate and Pup Guidelines

[Camalla]

Since some people are unclear about the rules, these are rules/guidelines for mates and pups.

Mates
1. You cannot be a zukulu (meaning, if you want a mate you'll need a new rank). This includes "hitting on" or "crushing on" one of the above ranks. Newcomers should be focused on other things such as getting to know the pack better.
2. You or your partner must PM Camalla as soon as its final, and ask for permission from Camalla that you may be mates* ASK FOR PERMISSION BEFORE ASKING TO BE MATES IN RP
3. Once Camalla has approved, you have to get your mate ceremony done in RP for the pair to be official; you may ask a Zatura to do the ceremony for you
4. Once you have done the ceremony, only Camalla has the power to split up a mated pair. If you would like to split up, you must PM Camalla at least 3 reasons as to why (so basically, you're stuck together whether you like it or not unless Camalla's feeling generous)**
5. If your mate has been kicked out of the pack for inactivity, banned, etc., then you may choose another whenever you'd like

*If the PM is not sent and Camalla has found out you have a mate some other way, you two will not be able to become mates or have mates for at least 4 months or longer*

**About De-mating: Camalla needs a PM from both of you (you and your mate) saying yes that you would both like to de-mate, plus three good different reasons from both of you as well, then IF Camalla approves, you may not ever get back together (regardless of characters), and both of you may not have a mate for 2 months, to ensure you won't be leaving one another for someone else.**

Pups
1. You must ask Camalla if you and your partner can have pups (must wait at least a month after your mate ceremony)
2. You may only have up to four pups
3. All pups must be dispersed by their first year
4. You may only keep 1 pup which is RPed by both mother and father (pup must be chosen 3 days after birth) UNLESS you have twins, then you may keep both
5. The pups may die (since if you're only keeping 1 pup unless you have twins, the others must die)
6. No gory/gross birthing and/or "love"; stay appropriate
7. Stay realistic (obviously you don't just "become pregnant" looking like your ready to burst 1 day after)
8. Let Camalla know your planned birthing date
9. Someone may RP your pup, but they will have to either change characters or join the pack
10. If you have no one RPing your pup, you may ask someone just remember to PM Camalla to let her know.

Adopted Pups
1. You cannot adopt a pup if you do not have a mate or have not done the mate ceremony
2. The pup MUST be roleplayed by another member
3. The members (you, your mate and the adopted) must all agree to it
4. You MUST PM Camalla about it immediately and ask for her permission
5. Pups can only be "adopted" if Camalla agrees to put them up for adoption
6. If the pup is not taken care of and is used purely for "showing off" your guardianship will be provoked and you will NOT be able to ever adopt another pup again
